Intro to Pottery, Wednesdays 6-8pm, January 2026

No experience required! In this class we explore the basics of hand-building, wheel throwing, and glazing technique. You will make several items both on and off the pottery wheel with stoneware clay that you can use for years to come. This class makes for a great refresher if you have been away from clay for a while. Price includes all clay, glazes, and firing of up to 10 pieces.

Students attend once a week for 4 weeks. Classes are 2 hours long.  Studio time for students is unlimited for the month.  Then 2 weeks later the students come back at a time that works for them to glaze their pieces.

You will also need a set of beginner tools, 1 gallon bucket, car wash sponge, and a towel.  These can be purchased from the studio on the first day of class for $30.

Class is for adults 18 and older, or 13 and up with their guardian.  Without a guardian 13-17 can attend the teens class.

Included dates where classes are from 2-4pm are as follows:

1/7/26, 1/14/26, 1/21/26, 1/28/25

Glazing days 2/14/26, 2/15/26 or 2/16/26.  Plan on about 2 hours to glaze.  You are welcome at any time from noon-7pm.
