One Time Wheel Classes, Wednesday 6-8pm, Aug. 26, 2026

Description

Try your hand at the pottery wheel with this one-time beginner class. In this class we will demonstrate the foundational skills of pottery, including how to move the clay to the center of the wheel, open it, and lift the walls of your brand new pot.

You will be given three attempts to craft your masterpieces and select the best one. Your favorite piece will be trimmed, glazed, and fired by our expert potters. You may choose from our 18 dippable glazes which are made in house and food, microwave, and dishwasher-safe. By the end of this two-hour session, you could end up with (you will be able to make) a rest for your spoon, a bowl for your dip, or a grater for your garlic: the possibilities are endless!

• Price is all inclusive.  No need to purchase any additional clay, glaze, tools or firing fees.  The only thing we need to include with this class is you!

• Students will choose the best of three attempts to be brought to life through our glazing process.
